Bomar Security, a local contract security company, was incorporated in the State of California in December 1982.  Our small and intimate size allows us to provide a personal level of service to our clients that is unparalleled by any competitor on the Central Coast.  We provide unmatched security solutions to various industries from residential and retail, to education and restaurants.

Bomar is selective in its recruiting with less than 50% of those who apply for employment are even considered for a position. Those that are considered are processed through our interview and screening process that is appropriate for the job classification beginning with an in depth interview by a trained personnel specialist. As may be appropriate for the position a candidate is applying for, additional interviews, background investigation and criminal records checks are done by our staff investigators.


As required for a position an applicant must pass the Bureau of Security and Investigation (BSIS), FBI and DOJ fingerprint and license statements. Our candidates for employment receive a pre-employment drug test. Additional periodic and random drug testing is done with employees in specific job classifications. Finally, our security officers have the appropriate State Licensing.


Training is our TOP CONCERN AND HIGHEST PRIORITY. It is a recognized fact that training is a vital determinant in ensuring effective job performance. Training is also an essential element in providing the level of quality service and professionalism our clients expect from Bomar.
